Kindergarten
Children move to the Kindergarten from three-and-a-half years old, when they are ready for the challenge of a larger group of mixed age children.
Let your children’s lessons take the form of play. Plato Republic bk. 7

The Nursery and the Kindergarten provide rich opportunities for each child’s personal growth and enjoyment. As young children learn through imitation, the aim of the Kindergarten teacher is to offer a wholesome example for the children to emulate.
Domestic day-to-day tasks, such as washing, ironing, preparing the daily snack or table-laying, offer children the experience of engaging in work of real value. Creative activities, such as painting, bread baking, sewing, and modelling, are also offered daily.
Each morning follows a pattern marked by its own special activity which is repeated weekly. This rhythm fosters a sense of security and confidence which grows as the children revisit the yearly celebrations of seasonal changes and festivals.
